Last week the Pension Play Pen Linked In Group passed 5000 members.
The Group was set up in October 2009 as a way of bringing together people I knew in the industry around an idea that was independent of any sponsor.
Since the group has no aim other than restore people’s confidence in pensions , it restricts no-one from joining and , I’m pleased to say it has had no need to banish any member!
The group has always had a strong social side and we run a number of sub-groups that go to Henley,
attend the Cheltenham Festival,
go to the theatre and meet for lunch – together!
We are the largest Pension dedicated Linked In in Europe and remain so as a result of the diversity of out membership, the energy of our postings and the good humour shared by all!
Feeding the 5000 – the Pension Play Pen Summer Party
In celebration of our passing 5000 members, we are throwing a party in the Samuel Pepys Public House on the evening of Thursday August 21st. The Pub is situated in Stew Lane, 48 Upper Thames Street, London EC4V 3PT and backs onto the Thames and looks across to the Globe Theatre, The Tate Modern and is adjacent to the wibbly-wobbly bridge!
If you would like to join us then you would be most welcome!
