I’m not a DB man, but I’m a collective pensions man and I will get a part of LCP’s DB conference dedicated to CDC (3pm – Draper and Taylor repeats the line up of last week’s PP coffee shop)!

I’ll also get to hear the Stagecoach/Aberdeen deal from the LCP perspective, giving advice to Stagecoach when a sponsor of the Stagecoach Group pension.

Last year’s “have I got news for you” gives you an idea of what to expect. It’s not just actuarial stuff, this is about the wider context of retirement living.

There is a freshness of a conference like this that we are missing from the Pensions UK event. I know that Jamie Fiveash is doing something about it and I hope that his work will evidence the start of change.
