It has been a hot week in more ways than one! I have been amazed that a Director of the Department of Work and Pensions decided to post something that may change the way we think about workplace pensions
A lot of reaction and a lot of comments (some of them uncomplimentary) . One comment that so delighted me, I thought I’d write a blog for my friend Terry Pullinger.
Here it is

People get their heads stuck in the minutia of Collective Pensions and miss the importance it will have to millions of employees who will get another pension, one that runs along side their state pension.
Terry doesn’t allow that to happen with him or people who he spends time with. I’m very proud to work with Terry and happy that Terry will be speaking this year with TPT at the TUC Congress at Brighton in September.
He has found in Kerstin someone who talks his language. They have different careers and are of different generations but they see Collective Pensions the same way.
As for the matter in hand, I will happily not say CDC in future. It has become tarnished by trolling from those who should know better. Better put the word away in a box under the stairs and get a new pair of shoes on!
As for Kerstin and Terry, I’ll say thank you to you both. I’ve had conversations with you both since your two great post .
“Thanks to Terry, thanks to Kerstin and may Collective Pensions be the better for their posts!”
