Paul Trickett

I understand that Paul Trickett is joining Aviva as a Director of the Life Company.

Paul tells me he has resigned his posts as Chair of the Trustees of the Zurich  Staff Pension Scheme and of the L&G Master Trust. L&G confirm that he is also leaving as Chair of the L&G IGC. Steve Carrodus will be taking over as acting Chair of the IGC.

As a member of the L&G WorkSave Pension and the Zurich Staff Pension Scheme, I have benefited from his stewardship. But I have also had the benefit of his time on several occasions and he has helped me shape my thinking on many matters but especially investment governance.

I don’t know what role he will be taking up at Aviva but hope it is one that he can use the full scope of his talents – and his great personal skills!
