With  the political crisis’ at home and in the Middle East, can anyone predict the point at which the cost of borrowing stop going up. As the cost of borrowing  goes up the cost of buying an annuity comes down.

    Planning point.
    A purchase life annuity with the commencement lump sum should be contemplated. (The capital component is not taxed.) The 25% no longer applies, as the tax fee element is capped
