Rosalind Connor “can we have less pension law?” Pension PlayPen this morning

You are cordially invited to attend our next event on Tuesday 25th June in which Pensions legal guru Rosalind Connor will study “the depoliticization of pensions”

Ros has recently been working on a new product at Temple Bright (called Source – https://www.sourceprosupport.com/about) which talks a bit about politics and pensions – ie how politicians are always keen on changing pensions law, and passing new laws!

If one looks at how many pensions acts there are, compared to, say, financial services, it shows that they can’t leave it alone.

As an industry should we be asking Government:

(a) why politicians always want to adjust pensions law

(b) why that can cause legal problems and

(c) what laws they might want to reduce – not party political as all the parties have the same instinct here.

Basically ….Can we have less pensions law?

Rosalind Connor is a Partner at Temple Bright and prior to that was Managing Partner at Arc Pensions Law for 8 years. She has a B.A from Oxford University on Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

We hope you can join.
