At our next event, we are delighted to announce that Edi Truell will be in conversation with our Chairman, Henry Tapper.

Edi will be speaking with Henry about his work backing Final Salary/DB pension schemes to “run on” with capital backing; also known as Capital Backed Journey Plan’s (CBJP).

The session will also cover progress in providing DC to DB transfers so that savers can have pensions from their DC pots; could be an interesting concept versus the traditional annuity route?

In addition, Edi will also be talking about the work of Disruptive Capital in developing GIG – an exciting energy project – productive finance in action!

Edi Truell is the managing partner of the Pension Superfund Capital team, a pensions and private markets veteran with 29 years’ experience.

Edi was Founder and ex-CEO of Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC), now a £50bn specialist insurer

and has transacted £8bn of pension risk transfer deals. In addition he was founder of Duke Street Capital private equity and debt management.

He was also the ex-Chairman of London Pension Fund Authority (LPFA), and architect of the £260bn SuperPools consolidation.
