Hutton and Gupta on what makes pension investment effective.

We are in a period of political change and also change in pensions. This coffee morning will focus on how pensions can change the way  capital is managed in the UK.

The new forces influencing pensions are talking about effective investments that drive forward investment in Britain.

Andy Haldane last week made a speech at the British Chamber of Commerce in which he suggested those who don’t invest to make Britain more productive may not receive full tax relief on contributions, Will Hutton is mentioned in the speech which you can read here.

Ashok Gupta is Chair of Mercer and a Director of New Capital Consensus. He is director of Finstic and E-value and a driving force behind innovation.

Will Hutton has been editor in chief of the Observer, Principal of Hertford College Oxford and Chief Executive of the Workplace Foundation
