Damien’s pessimism is attractive but I think it’s wrong.

Change will be looked back on as progress. I remember this pessimism from my father and my grandfather as they retired and now I hear it from mine.  We need not consider change as threatening.

We thought that computer technology would sink us 25 years ago, now we think that data centres managing artificial intelligence will do the same. We will start by being frightened and then we’ll embrace what is new till it becomes part of our lives – cheer up Damian .

Whatever Or means – I wish Damian well. Oh and Liverpool FC will come back to form soon.
