Ian Mcknight and Aoifinn Devitt have a lively and friendly chat which I enjoyed a lot (though Ian goes over my head sometimes).
If you’re are going to the Pension UK conference (even though it’s not the investment one), then it’s worth half an hour of your time to get two experts speaking to you. Weirdly, I was one of Aoifinn’s early guests several years ago when podcasts were young and people like me were still in their prime!
Ian is indomitable, he overcomes adversity with the force of a character that is optimistic.
He is one of the few CIOs I know who is a genuinely good communicator and this is a genuinely listenable podcast for a Monday morning.
I’m off to a funeral this morning and trying hard to be cheerful, thanks Ian and Aoifinn.
Extraordinary to come away positive when Ian’s news is so bad!
How can Britain afford AI when our power bills so expensive?
How can Britain be the world’s leader in ESG without our charging so much for the privilege?
How can we feel so happy with Aoifinn and Ian? Fossil fuels round the Falklands?
How can we live with ourselves and other G7 economies having such disastrous leadership
“We’re due a good recession after which the real money will be made”
says Ian McKnight
“Bankruptcy needn’t be disastrous”
“What will it take to break the market- I’m sure it’s true”.
Give it a try!
