Pension PlayPen’s Open Letter to Jeannie Drake and team

Pension PlayPen is a mansion with many rooms and while we like to congregate in the kitchen for coffee at 10.30 am, we go off to our studies to think. Some of my playmates did just that and have produced an open letter which they have sent to the Pension Commission. They have received an acknowledgement, their contributions were well received by Inez Gallagher, the DWP’s Senior Researcher working for the Pension Commission. Inez is very excited and there will be opportunities to come to write many more such communications!

Thank you for getting in touch with the Pensions Commission and for this helpful letter outlining suggested priorities. The Secretariat team are still at an early stage, working through stakeholder engagement plans with the newly-appointed Commissioners.

We’ll be in touch shortly to provide further details on how you will be able to feed into the first stages of the Commission’s work.

We are very excited to begin working with you on this important undertaking. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions in the meantime.

Of course the letter does not speak for all who join together on Tuesday mornings nor should it, that would make a boring mansion with only one room! You can see what was sent and who put their signatures to it by reading now what’s below or downloading it for bed-time reading!

More later, but the Tuesday Coffee Morning  on Sept 16th (10.30am)  will be part 2 of Sam Robert’s eulogy to bitcoin , you can join it using this link or copy it into your diary with the code below.
