The light came up at dawn too late for us all. Dawn was an hour too late! Did you feel that way or did Sunday morning pass you by?
My brother has come up to join me and we took an outing to Ben Lawers and over the precipitous lane to Glen Lyon,
We got up above the trees thanks to Forestry paths and had some lunch.

We found somewhere to sit and eat cheese , biscuits and scones.

Glen Lyon is a beast of a thing, it starts in the West of Scotland and finishes near Aberfeldy and Kenmore, we didn’t walk the length but we did a few miles in the middle.
We got home late in the afternoon and we swum (this time not in Loch Rannoch as I did last week, but in the swimming pool of a nearby hotel.
Bournemouth got beat but that didn’t matter, we are still wondering at Yeovil’s 98th minute winner. I am keeping out of Scottish football our of sympathy for Perth , which I am visiting today.
Here is that mountain that I caught at 6,30 am at the top of this blog, the second photo captures the epic beauty of Schiehallion, too early in its summer robes.
We are used to snow at this time of year, will I brave my sorry fitness to climb it while is is snow-free?
