Fairy tale of Taibach

taibach al

T’was Christmas Evening , in Port Talbot

An old prop said to me,

“here’s my CETV”

And so he sat me down,

“a Brains for me and you?”

He could see a better world, where all his dreams came true

And the squad of the Taibach Rugby Cub

Sang out “abide with me”

Alarm bells were ringing out  for you and me.

“I’m on a lucky one, and so is everyone

I’m out of Twatter’s mess,

and sod BSPS

I’ve got nothing to lose,

I’ve had my Time to Choose

If you’re advisory,

sign off advice for me”

And the squad of the Taibach rugby club

Sang out “abide with me”

Alarm bells were ringing in the lottery.
