Guy, in campaigning mode
I asked – you delivered, here are the questions you wanted asking of former Pensions Minister, Guy Opperman
“It’s back to school for many of your former colleagues – are you missing being an MP?
What made being an MP worthwhile
You were our longest serving Pensions Minister – what do you think your lasting achievement
And what is your regret?
Would you have any advice to Emma Reynolds?
What should the Government be prioritising and what are nice to haves?
Are “workplace pensions” really pensions?
How’s second fatherhood?
How’s Zola the dog
Is City of Troy the best horse Aidan O’Brien has ever trained
Thanks to everyone who mailed me. That last one’s mine.

Well, he did nothing to solve the PPF/FAS (PAG) problem that Ian Duncan Smith and others promised to resolve as soon as the Conservative Party took office. Is there a political will for any party to support elderly pensioners who are sitting targets by them all! Now we have the problem of the clause 161 of the March report of the non functioning WPSC!
Henry did ask blog followers to send him
questions to ask Mr Opperman this morning, but I don’t think anyone asked about prospects for PPF/FAS equalisation, or about the Ombudsman decision for WASPI.
Byron. That is just typical of our politicians who are quite happy to ignore the pensioners and not want to address the long standing issues of FAS, EMAG, WASBI, BBC, WPSC and now the Winter Warmer’s . So, they choose not to answer. No one appears be prepared to support our last century citizens!
