Yeovil equal club record with 12 wins on the bounce

12 wins on the bounce, 8 in the league – these are happy days for Yeovil Town and their long-suffering supporters.

Last night’s win at Torquay was only a 220 mile round trip for Yeovil fans but they packed out the supporters end of the ground and were all I could hear as I tuned in on Radio Somerset from the Swan public house in Windsor.

Winter is coming and it had been a crap day at work, (hundreds of hours of Government work seemingly wasted).

To hear the chants, and the excited commentary and Yeovil’s three goals was enough to send me happily homewards with my girl on my arm.

Life throws a lot of shit at you, but there’s always a way to look at tomorrow with a happy lens. “Tomorrow” for Yeovil Town will be Saturday, back at the Huish, where they hope to complete a 13th overall and 9th league win against struggling Dover Athletic.

We wish the lads well on remembrance day , knowing that the joy we have at living in this fine place called Great Britain with a fine club like Yeovil , is built on the sacrifice of others.
