Mark Polson, Ian Beestin,, Jenny Smythe, Nigel Ross-Scott and Chris Budd Plus David Crozier, Shannon Currie who’ve been ferrying gear out to Ukraine
There is a certain buzz within the ward of Farringdon Within as we anticipate the arrival of Rock for Ukraine (rockukraine.co.uk) to Rock For Ukraine tomorrow (Thursday 23rd Feb). The date’s important, it’s the eve of Russia’s invasion and the gig’s important to – it’ll be a first chance for most of us to see this lot play live.
***Update ***
I had planned to be in local hostelry the Cockpit in Ireland Yard prior to the gig. I will no longer be buying drinks at this pub.
Instead I will be in posh pub, the Anthropologist down Gresham Street.
Venue: The Anthologist, 58 Gresham Street, Bank, London, EC2V 5AY
Date/Time: Thursday 23rd February 5:30pm.
Drinks and nibbles are being supplied by DG publishing who are keen to pass this on to the pensions glitterati – which means you.
So I look forward to not being in the Cockpit, not buying drinks but instead to pass on savings to Rock for Ukraine.
Tickets still available
If you are a twat (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) worker in the City or if you happen to be in the vicinity tomorrow, and you are not in possession of a ticket, then you are invited to buy one on this link.

Bizarrely, the Stationers is the blogger’s livery company, so I’m doubly chuffed!
