A word of warning for those (like me) who had their second jabs in May or June. The Government is telling us that from this morning we can book a booster, even if we aren’t 6 months away from our last jab.
Important booster update!
Anyone aged 50plus or in a high risk group can now prebook their COVID booster if 5 months has passed since their second jab.
Appointments can be from a few days before your 6 months is up.

But read the following two tweets for a cautionary tale
Fake news, alas! The online system does not seem to be able to work out when the earliest date is that you can be vaccinated. Boots staff were turning lots of people away. My earliest day was tomorrow. Just as well there is no problem of vaccine supply. Plenty gonna be wasted.

Thanks Howell. Make sure when you book your booster, that you don’t go for premature inoculation.
Beware premature inoculation
Better safe than sorry, get the first date you can after you have had six months from your first, save yourself disappointment at the vaccine booth and a wasted jab!
