Last night , sights along the Thames were bathed in a yellow light. This is the scene as I ran down from Blackfriars Bridge.
And as I passed the National Theatre
And as I reached Trafalgar Square
Yellow to remember
I got home in time for the 8pm vigil and my thoughts then were for the 126,000 who had died mixed with my thanks to the NHS for what it has done for all of us.
Yellow to celebrate
The light was for the NHS but maybe there was a shade for Pension Bee which announced its IPO as a float on the London Stock Exchange with a reported initial valuation of £350m.
My run had taken me earlier past their offices on London Wall and indeed past the Exchange in Paternoster Square.
It seemed that as the yellow lights came on, remembrance of the past was tinged with a hope for the future. Pension Bee is hope for the future.
Many congratulations to Romina Savova and her team who have shown what can be done independently of the powers that bee!
The Pensions Bee product is simple, easy to use and does what it says on the packet. My experience of dealing with this firm confirms they have the governance in place to scale. I am sure they will change things in a part of financial services where disruption is needed.
