How’d you “like” it if Samsung circled your pad?

Imagine. You are on your way home on the tube and you are staring at an advert telling you where your home is!

My friend Peter Tompkins is the most outgoing of actuaries – a true extravert. He didn’t bat an eyelid, just clicked his phone (perhaps a Samsung?) and posted what he saw.

I love it  that he’s happy that Google and Samsung see his handsome home as the kind of place you’d circle and find on your smartphone.

His home is the St Pancras Clock Tower that stands atop two of London’s great railway stations, not a bad place to live if you like to get out and about.

Peter shares his home with thousands of people – organising concerts, dinner parties (he has one of the finest kitchens in London, and serving the fresh produce he and his partner grow. Until recently, Peter had hives beneath the City walls off Noble Street (opposite Lloyds Banking Group’s HQ.

Some people are natural sharers and Peter’s one of them. I wonder how many of us would react with Peter’s elan on discovering our pad was the focus of attention for a major advertising campaign

But then now many of us would have had the guts to purchase one of London’s iconic landmarks as a home!

We don’t have many celebrities in our midst, but Peter and his clock-tower are now A-list. Now confirmed by Google and Samsung!
