Andrew Young – Born to Run

It’s been 7 years since I celebrated Andy Young’s  65th in his daughter’s restaurant in Seaford.  You can read here how I felt then, and it’s how I feel on the great man’s 72nd birthday- today.

Since he became of pensionable age,  he’s  been honoured with an OBE and I had the honor of his and his family’s company on Lady Lucy on Sunday.

Happy birthday Andy. Remember Bruce singing to Mary on Thunder Road

Don’t run back inside
Darling, you know just what I’m here for
So you’re scared and you’re thinking
That maybe we ain’t that young anymore

Show a little faith there’s magic in the night
You ain’t a beauty but hey you’re alright
Oh and that’s alright with me

Sara and Andy are beauties and they are alright with me.
