One of the reasons for speaking last week in New York was to see my friend Andy and his fiancee Christy together. They met in a nightclub and fell in love, Christy is a talented dress-designer and Andy is the Technical Officer of the Pension PlayPen.
Andy and I walked the hi-line down from 34th to 14th and then back to this rooftop for supper.
Christy drank cocktails and we drank beer. We ate burgers and chicken and a Greek salad. It seemed like the end to a Perfect Day.
As night drew in the Empire State Building grew brighter
The next day, after work I met Andy and we walked to Central Park.
They’re getting married in Eton College in October. We’re drinking to that.
