Always has good ideas!

I have complained a lot about the takeover of British Insurers (most especially about Just and PIC but also Upmost) by American private equity houses, Apollo and Brookfield

But that doesn’t mean that the life companies can’t do good thing or learn from their experience in other countries. I was not aware of Just SA till an Australian David Orford  (who writes on this blog) brought it to all of us on linked in.

For those who think I have an animus against annuities, Just and American Private Equity houses, I do. But only because they take value and growth away from our pension schemes. But that doesn’t mean I can like the ideas they are introducing in other countries, ideas we could see introduced in UK.
