Congratulations to everyone who has won anything this week

It is obviously award winning season…

Or should I be paying attention to this?

I don’t doubt the capacity of the pensions (or should I say financial products) society to throw parties.

Not only are the parties extremely motivating for the winners but the losers win as well as they get to see an opportunity for next year.

Well done Standard Life, you must have huge amount of energy doing such good entries to so many award communications.

Well done women and woman of the year Helen Dean (she’s chair of Standard Life Master Trust – success at these things must be catching).

Well done the story teller

Well done anyone at the Pensions Regulator for winning anything to do with innovation.

And what about the rising stars!

Well we’ve still got to wait for the official photographs which will be published on a special website

But here is an early taster

And let’s look forward to all the winners and the runners up getting their awards and commiserations.

While all this is going on inside the various venues who ply the well dressed VIPs with wine and fine food, our customers must be really impressed.

After all, they want to see how the people who are determined they have adequate retirements, get rewarded.

Congratulations to everyone who has won anything and there’s always next year to those few who didn’t.

Alternatively you could follow the PPF and invent your own awards, that way you’d win every year!

Watch out there, the NHS also offer ICARE awards

Maybe we should have courses on how to enjoy award ceremonies or at least make sure you end up at the right one.

And make sure you get in the right photograph at the end of the night.

There – do I get a commendation for promoting promotion?
