Dan Burn scored with a great header that sent Newcastle up the steps of Wembley to receive its first major cup in 70 years. Yeovil has only a small part in his journey to this achievement but to Yeovil fans, it is the part that matters

He had been up those stairs and Yeovil fans (like me and my family) were in Wembley 12 years ago. A header in the box for Dan Burn in each appearance – each scoring a goal!

This is of course not the end of it . Burn is as honest a footballer as you are like to get and we are delighted with this news, brought to us by our club.
After a great career he gets called up by his country.
Let’s hope that the Bruton loving Arsenal fan I heard on a podcast this morning , remembers that small clubs like Yeovil (here winning the play off to get for once into the Championship) should be closer to his heart.
