It was 6.30pm, I was heading for the WTW awards at London’s Hispania Restaurant from Bank when I found myself descending the drain to Waterloo. On auto-pilot I made my way back to Eton to see my partner and celebrate once again not winning any award for journalism.
I had received the results in a press release, I continue to be invited for no obvious reason but to be given the opportunity to meet real writers who can write stories about them winning awards in their niches. Ah that’s another year of niceness for everyone!

I think I must be the worst financial journalist in Britain! Can’t they do an award for a feeble git like me who doesn’t see everything going so well?
According to Linked in , I am the most influential person in financial services – in the world? Don’t know how they Linked in get it so wrong!

There’s a much longer list to publish if I could be bothered
No?
Oh alright then, but I suppose that social media is a little bit scummy and scammy for WTW! So here’s the announcement of the great and good of the financial journalist world. Lash yourself with newspapers for spending time reading this blog, you should be reading the publications listed below!
