World beater! Henry Tapper – Linked in’s top voice?

I’ve no idea what this is – but it seems to have been won by me which makes me the Number One Influencer on Linked in for  financial services.

abbreviated – full list below!

Source

This has been researched by a young businessperson in Peru called Diego Shiroma and I can honestly say I have no idea who he is and what he has picking me out. He did

Publicity

I am pleased to see I am giving Pension SuperFund some well deserved publicity. AI has picked me as the most influential person in the world using LinkMate.

Coincidentally, I met with Edi Truell yesterday evening . He really is influential on behalf of Pension SuperFund and we had quite a chuckle about me being rated – in my capacity as Director of Pension Fund.

There, I’ve said it often enough I might just believe that hours on my blog and parading my blog have done some good. I have no knowledge of anyone else on the list but heh- that’s AI and social media and algorithms that are beyond me.

Here is the post that made me number one!

Follow me – why don’t you?

You can’t link in to me because I’m capped out at 30,000 connections. You can join AgeWage and Pension PlayPen – we have getting on for 20,000 and you can subscribe to my blog if you want to lose control of your email with all my nonsense.

For what it’s worth, I’ve just been lying on a bed in the Urology section of University College Hospital exploring the ongoing quarrel between my brain, my bladder and a bulge in my prostate. Now if we could figure a way to make them friends, I’d be really happy!

Winning this award has got the upside that I don’t have to go to a stupid dinner and not drink any rubbish wine and not have to pretend that I am interested anymore. That’s an upside of being “top of whatever”!

Social media?

I’d be interested to hear – in comments – your view of this random list and give us an insight how such random lists are created and why.

What they do for people of whatever age – is inflate their egos – it has mine. They are also capable of annoying too – I am sure many of my followers and those who choose not to, will regard me as ridiculous for spending some time on this.

Social media is a second world which has a different value set.  Defined by absurdities we are all world beaters!  If that operation in UCL yesterday had told  a different story, it might be the best obituary Linked in could leave me!
