That is all very impressive, but 9K is far more than my merger FAS and other small personal pensionns that I receive that disallowes claiming my pension credit Also, it is quite unbelievable that elderly, vulnerable, sick, last century analogue citizens with no digital experience are expected to fill in on-line a unbelievable complex application form of some 240 pages. No wonder people do not want that hassle!

  2. Richard Chilton says:

The printable application form is just 24 pages long. However, many of those who could be eligible for Pension Credit won’t have any way of printing it. They are unlikely to be even able to understand many of the questions asked, never mind able to answer them correctly. They will need some well-educated person to help them and that well-educated person will have to spend quite a bit of time exploring both the personal and financial circumstances of the applicant. This could be difficult, as the applicant may have a low educational level, have the relevant information scattered or not retained, and/or have a poor command of English.

Well said. I apologize for my mistype on the number of pages. At least I got the ’24’ right! I am fed up, elderly not well ( probably needing RSV jab) and this new technology increasingly is flwed and insecure. What a wonderfull world this new generation are giving us!
