For 20 years , I have owned Lady Lucy, but now – sadly – she is up for sale.
The joy of ownership is gone, I am left with nothing but bills and issues with insurers intent on stopping my weekend cruises that have been a feature of my summers since 2006 when the boat’s last restoration was completed.

If you would like to look at the boat with a view to purchase you can start here. It is on the list of boats for sale along with Nigel and Sheila’s Tobillie.
It is sad to see the boat, normally festooned with flags, beanbags and people , so bare
My memories of the boat are more like this!
The Lady Lucy Facebook page is full of kind tributes. I publish Simon’s first as Simon saved Lady Lucy from being crushed in Hambledon Lock
Thanks too to all the kind memories which I will collect and publish on here. If you have been on the boat or seen the boat, please contribute in the comments.
