48 hours to save leaseholders our bill

Yesterday, I wrote about the impressive work Michael Gove is doing to stave off the freehold lobby. But this work could be thrown back into the limbo of the “wash-up”, if steps aren’t taken to get this bill enacted.

I don’t know if this is possible but it is worth a try. I’m emailing  my MP today to ask her to save the bill, can you email yours these words.

Dear [constituency MP]

I am concerned for the fate of the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Bill, currently in its final reading in parliament.

There are 48 hours to enact the bill and save it from legislative limbo.

Can I rely on your support to save the bill?

Regards

It may be a coincidence but isn’t it easy to support a vote winner when you know that there is no time in this Parliamentary session to honour the pledge.

Politics is a dirty game and you need to judge by what they do NOT what they say, sadly

I’m afraid that the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Bill has missed the cut.
