Me -June 21 – Shoreditch
The Government will try to back-track, but the cat is now out of the bag. 21st June becomes the target date and though we know if we don’t hit it – we have ourselves to blame, that doesn’t stop it being a midsummer night’s dream!
And for some reason, my next door neighborhood has become the focus for June 21 speculation

#Shoreditch is trending this morning on twitter. I am 40 years on from the youth of Hoxton, Dalston and Shoreditch but I get it – I worship up there and run around it on my 60 minute lockdown lap. It is my kind of place to party.
And I know that June 21 2020 is going to be one hell of a party in this City of ours and I’m going to make sure I am up all night to get lucky on that longest of long summer days.
Readers, let me tell you, that I am focusing already on that happy day when Blackfriars and Farringdon and Bishopsgate and all the hoods in the City of London are going to clap their hands and rise up against the oppression of the Coronavirus. On that day we’re going to wave our vaccinated arms and sing hallelujah!
