It’s hard to love a team of mercenaries purchased by some super Sheikhs but for Balotelli’s stony faced celebration alone, they were value . That they sent 75,000 prawn-chompers home in a seething rage worries me not one jot. It’s good for the soul to suffer defeat and if Man Utd still have a soul they should be tipping their hats to their noisy neighbours.
