This morning, in Zeeland with the Oyster Heaven team and board, I saw how bold goals can become living, breathing realities.
👉 Clay “Mother Reefs” seeded with baby oysters.
👉 Water is cleaner.
👉 Marine life moving back in.
It’s infrastructure.
It’s cost-effective.
It’s investible.
Because one oyster filters 200 litres of water a day. A reef protects coastlines. And a billion? They reshape ecosystems and economies.
From Zeeland’s hatchery to a movement worth backing: Restoring 1 billion oysters in UK waters by 2035.
📸 Thanks, George Birch and Max, for the tour.
