Tuesday’s Pension PlayPen Coffee Morning will see myself and TPR Chair Sarah Smart in conversation.

- What’s the biggest challenge for the Pensions Regulator in 2024?
- How’s the new mindset developing?
- Were you pleased with the General Code?
- What can you tell us about the DB Funding Code?
- Can y0u give us your thoughts on CDC and its development?
- What’s the next step in developing the VFM Framework?
- Can you explain what the Regulator means by a “full service DC pension ?”
- What’s the role for external capital in supporting DB pensions to run on?
- Are superfunds just a bridge to buy-out?
- How’s scheme consolidation going ?
You don’t often get an hour of Sarah’s time to ask questions and I’m sure I won’t be the only person in the audience with a list.
I you want your question to Sarah to be at the front of the queue, you can use the comments section of this blog, or you can mail me at “henry@agewage.com”.
Tickets for Pension PlayPen events
There are three kinds of tickets for a Pension PlayPen event
- If you are not a member of the Pension PlayPen you can join an event via Eventbrite – this is the link
- If you are a member of the Pension PlayPen, you have to pay a subscription to attend events
- If you are unable to pay for events (no means test) you, can get a VIP pass as a reader of this blog from me (henry@agewage.com)
We don’t want to exclude anyone on financial or other grounds, so if you want to come, we’ll find a way for you to come.
The meeting is not under Chatham House rules, journalists are welcome and they can ask questions directly or through chat.
Thanks in advance to Sarah Smart for putting herself through the ordeal of an hour with us – the awkward squad.
