On the 𝓽𝔀𝓮𝓵𝓯𝓽𝓱 day of Christmas, a BP pensioner said to me:
𝑻𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒗𝒆 days of opportunities for BP to engage here,
𝑬𝒍𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 percent loss in the real value of BP pensions,
𝑻𝒆𝒏 silent independent BP Board members,
𝑵𝒊𝒏𝒆 faint-hearted BP Executive Vice Presidents,
𝑬𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕y thousand £ raised in one single day for legal advice and action,
𝑺𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 months of no BP engagement with pensioner representatives,
𝑺𝒊𝒙 failures of BP’s Code of Conduct decision tool,
𝑭𝒊𝒗𝒆 tarnished excuses for denying fair and affordable cost of living pension increases,
𝑭𝒐𝒖𝒓 percent discretionary BP pension increase rejected by previous CEO Bernard Looney,
𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒆𝒆 BP pensioner campaign group objectives,
𝑻𝒘𝒐 years of no proper cost of living BP pension increases, and
𝑶𝒏𝒆 broken BP pension promise causing a crisis for thousands of pensioners.
