The Prayer
On Wednesday, I wrote about the impressive work Michael Gove is doing to stave off the freehold lobby. But this work would have been thrown back into limbo if it doesn’t get into the “wash-up.
On Thursday I emailed my MP today to ask her to save the bill, campaigners asked you to email yours these words.
Dear [constituency MP]
I am concerned for the fate of the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Bill, currently in its final reading in parliament.
There are 48 hours to enact the bill and save it from legislative limbo.
Can I rely on your support to save the bill?

A day of conflicting rumours
A RESULT –
The government has announced that the House of Lords will debate the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Bill on Friday, meaning it may become law before the dissolution of Parliament -BBC
Labour sources have indicated that while they want to strengthen the bill, they are prepared to back the legislation as it stands.
So the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Bill could become law on Friday. – BBC
