Yeovil Town

Congratulations to Terry and the team for a tremendous performance yesterday.

2-1 away to Rovers having gone 1-0 down, Forbes’ first goal and top half of the league.

Ok , so we’ll draw a veil over the cup and the unfortuante trip to Leeds but the Glovers storm back- stuffing those Southend jonnies and moving above them up to 12th in the league.

Skivers even gets some recognition on BBC’s late night football show.

Nov 14th- sour grapes from Southend…/4740159.Yeovil_Town_1__Southend_United_0/ – 10 hours ago –

Dean Bowditch is a legend- debuts against the Tranmere scores and then is brutally fouled. Off for eight weeks and returns to … score…surely Dean must get the vote for Yeovil’s most effective player- two goals and less than 90 minutes on the pitch!!

Mcormack’s Friday 13th hubris

Alan, if you’re reading the above, hope you have a wonderful Sunday morning as you comtemplate your lowly league position.

Football is a tough old game and the Shrimpers have our sympathy.

Ha ha ha!

On to Victory!

Yeovil 1 Charton 1- a brave battling performance from the lads. Still closer to the play-offs than the relegation zone.

Here’s a great blog which contains some fantastic predictions including the words “play offs”,,10673~48558,00.html

MK Dons 2- Glovers 2 Deano and Macca nearly get us the three points. Shoddy refereeing denies us a penalty, saves MK Dons a red card.

Great stuff from the boys in green.

Terry Skiverton on Yeovil’s amazing 3-3 draw with Norwich at the Huish

Retained payers for 2010-11

ever wanted to know what life is like with c4000 average crowds?

Looks like another season long on loanees and short on long term contracts.

Wow! We have a new manager but we haven’t lost our old one. Terry Skiverton stays on as Gary Johnson‘s #2. Great interview on BBC Points West (amazing the title’s still there). Follow the link for a moving experience (nof so much from Gary but for Terry’s bit at the end)

Yeovil were left to rue their first half misses as they were brushed aside by four goals to nil at Elland Road

    Snow news from Yeovil

Olly and I have maintained our 100% record for league games this season having watched the demoliton of Wycombe.

That’s four home wins and one away win (mighty performance against the Rovers). We should have won against MK Dons but for the dodgies of refereeing decisions which denied us the clean sweep for 2009.

Not so lucky in our cup games but ..good news- we can’t lose any more cup games this season!!

Yeovil v Tranmere this saturday- long way to go – so it looks like Brentford v Carlisle for us!
