The inaugural Pension Playpen golf day took place at the East Sussex National on September 2nd.

The event was won by Ben Mulroney whose good humour and general good sense were evident throughout.

Close second was Nigel Featherstone, irrepressible in spirit despite his golf being slightly below his usual high standards

Distant third was Henry Tapper who played above himself but still regularly fell pray to Brighton Beach and befriended the snowman all too often

Our thanks go to Ben for organising. We are aware that there were many members of the Playpen who expressed a desire to participate in future days and we hope that members will step forward during the autumn to ensure this fabulous event is repeated
